If you got a 3 or a 4 on the last assignment, record the next level up. If you got a 1 or a 2, record the same one. If you were bored with the last one, you can skip ahead to whichever one looks right for you – but don’t record one that is way too easy or way too hard.

Here’s an online pitchpipe to help you find your starting pitch: http://www.harmonize.com/metropolis/online_pitch_pipe.htm

Once you have it recorded, upload it to this assignment bin in Google Classroom.

If you get stuck with the technology, ask during class or see me after school.

REMEMBER: After you’ve recorded yourself, go back and listen to it and fill out the “What can you work on for next time?” box in the third assessment rubric.

*****You will not receive a grade until you give Mr. Chessin this form, which you should have in your binder.*****

For All: Festival Evaluation make-up assignment

If you turned in your evaluation assignment after festival, you don’t need to do this. If you didn’t get one, or lost it, or didn’t go to festival, you should do this to make up the assignment so you don’t get a 0.

Print out this form:Evaluation Form

Option 1: Go to a choir concert (high school or older) and fill out the form for the choir(s) you hear.

Option 2: Find a video on YouTube of a choir performing THREE songs, and fill out an evaluation for that choir. Do this for two separate choirs (so you’ll be listening to SIX songs in the end).

Here are some great local high school choirs to look up:
Rex Putnam
Gresham
Tigard
Heritage
Union
Clackamas
David Douglas

Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

This is due Friday (the end of the grading period!).
